Jeff Webster focuses solely on the State and Local Justice/Public Safety and Homeland Security Information Technology market. Webster identifies upcoming opportunities in various state and local governments, as well as tracks ongoing and past state contracts. He is also responsible for keeping all state profiles updated and researching IT industry and Public Sector procurement developments and trends.
Webster has been featured twice on Homeland Security Television’s report on public safety interoperable communications. Webster has also been featured in numerous industry publications including StateTech Magazine’s reports on a variety of public safety technologies. He has also presented at law enforcement events in the Virginia area. Webster has also authored a variety of reports for Deltek on public safety technologies, including Real ID rules and regulations, Deltek's annual JPS Top Ten Opportunities, and most recently, INPUT/Output™ FY 2011 Governors' Budgets: Public Safety Spending.
Prior to joining Deltek, Webster worked within the Minnesota state legislature, where he assisted in the creation and editing of state legislation. He also has worked for the National Emergency Management Association within the Council of State Governments. Webster holds a bachelor's degree in political science from St. John’s University in Minnesota.
