Kristin Howe
Analyst, Justice/Public Safety & Homeland Security

As an analyst on the state and local opportunities team, Kristin Howe conducts and analyzes research on state and local business opportunities as well as supports the data collection and analysis of public sector content. Howe’s responsibilities include identifying state and local requirements using in depth primary and secondary research, state budget analysis, updating tracking progress on previously identified state and local business opportunities, synthesizing research findings, analyzing overall market trends and providing written and oral briefings to internal staff, external clients and trade publications.

Prior to working at Deltek, Howe was an intern for the Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs. Howe has also held multiple internships for trade associations working in their government relations department on congressional and member relations as well as publications.

Howe holds a master’s degree in international business with a concentration in Southeast Asian emerging markets from the American International College from London, United Kingdom and Bangkok, Thailand. She also holds a bachelor’s degree in international affairs with a concentration in French and European affairs from the University of Mary Washington in Fredericksburg, Va.
