As an analyst on the state and local opportunities team, Joanna Salini, conducts in-depth research and analysis of the Justice/Public Safety & Homeland Security IT market in conjunction with state and local government markets. Ms. Salini’s responsibilities include identifying state and local requirements, updating and tracking state and local business opportunities through the full IT procurement lifecycle as well as analyzing overall market trends and providing written and oral briefings to internal staff, external clients and trade publications.

Prior to joining Deltek, Ms. Salini worked as an intern in U.S. Senator John Kerry’s office, focusing on health care and veteran’s affairs legislation and casework.

Ms. Salini holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in international relations from Boston University with a concentration in foreign policy and security studies.
