Analyst Recap: eHealth Initiative Conference (Feb 2012)

The eHealth Initiative (eHI) Annual Conference was held on January 11-12, 2012 in Washington, D.C. The conference convened providers, patients, practitioners, vendors, and advocacy groups to discuss several topics surrounding eHI’s new focus on chronic disease. For the first time in its history, eHI will focus nearly exclusively on cancer, diabetes, and heart disease. As one of the first events after the announcement of the newly acute focus, the conference emphasized improving care for chronically ill patients through the use and adoption of ehealth technologies.
