Analyst Recap: The 11th Annual National Child Welfare IT Managers’ Meeting (Jun 2012)

Description

For the eleventh year, national child welfare IT managers assembled in the nation’s capital for a four-day event sponsored by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), Administration for Children and Families (ACF), Children’s Bureau. The State Information Technology Consortium (SITC) again organized the much-anticipated Annual National Child Welfare IT Managers’ Meeting, which provides vendors, state program officials, and federal regulators with an excellent opportunity to network and discuss program enhancements, systems development, and collaboration initiatives. Specifically, the event’s user group technical trainings allow state officials the opportunity for unfettered discussion with their colleagues in other states and with federal partners. This year’s meeting featured a vendor symposium sponsored by TechAmerica’s Human Services IT Advisory Group (HSITAG), with numerous companies highlighting their child welfare solutions.
