Shadi Shakibai, manager, Civilian Information Services, is responsible for supervising a segment of analytical staff, managing the research, analysis and delivery of high-quality and timely responses to specific federal customer inquiries. Her responsibilities include ensuring the depth of analysis and usability of the Civilian Information Services products as well as maintaining the overall product health, accuracy and client satisfaction. Ms. Shakibai supports sales and member services staff with product demonstrations to prospective clients and new member product-related training to existing customers. She has extensive experience that spans across several areas, including market research, procurement, vendor relationship management, account management, and product training.

Prior to this role, Ms. Shakibai was as a senior member advisor, responsible for managing 80 to 100 of existing Deltek accounts for small, mid-market, and enterprise segments. In this role she provided research support and customized in-person and web training to member companies, assisted in the creation, management, and distribution of targeted information and analysis to Deltek members and identified new business opportunities within existing Deltek subscriber accounts. Previously, Ms. Shakibai was a senior analyst on Deltek's State and Local team, where she was responsible for supporting the development and management for the Health and Human Services IT market. She reported on product and project progress to ensure milestones were achieved, and assisted in the management of product planning, enhancements, and improvements. Ms. Shakibai provided analyst briefings to members as needed and prepared strategic research reports for distribution to clients and prospects. Prior to that, Ms. Shakibai was also an analyst on the State and Local team where she was responsible for creating and maintaining content for the opportunities and vertical profiles databases. During this time she conducted and delivered in-depth research and analysis on government market trends, business development best practices and emerging opportunities and provided support for the sales and member services teams on demos and training sessions respectively.

Prior to joining INPUT in 2004, Ms. Shakibai was an intern for the counseling and personnel services department at the University of Maryland while pursuing her master’s degree. She conducted research and analysis on student retention and performed program assessment, design, and implementation of student services offices and organizations. Ms. Shakibai identified external benchmarks of private and public institutions of higher learning for comparative purposes.

Ms. Shakibai holds a master’s degree in counseling and personnel services from the University of Maryland in College Park, Md. and a bachelor’s degree in sociology from George Mason University in Fairfax, Va.
