As an advisory analyst for Deltek's Federal Market Analysis team, Angie Petty is responsible for conducting strategic and tactical research across government IT vertical markets. She delivers focused research reports with an emphasis on market trends, forecasting, and spending analysis. Petty has more than 20 years of federal market intelligence experience in the IT industry, including market analysis, market forecasting, strategic planning, product development, customer support, and account management.
Petty specializes in the areas of health IT, data center consolidation, and solutions to combat waste, fraud, and abuse in the federal space. She also possesses research concentrations in the Departments of Health and Human Services, Veterans Affairs, Treasury, Education, Labor, and the Intelligence Community.
Previously, Petty spent eight years as an entrepreneur in the construction contracting industry as the proprietor of an electrical contracting business and a custom electronics company.
Petty also held several positions at Federal Sources, Inc., where she managed the development of all content for their government IT Internet-based market information subscriptions and led the customer support team.
Petty began her government IT career at INPUT, where she served as a research analyst and federal program manager, where she managed the federal IT procurement program and its staff of research analysts.
Petty holds a bachelor's degree in business administration, with majors in management and economics from James Madison University.
