46th Annual IT Solutions Management (ISM) for Human Services Conference
Published: October 23, 2013
The 46th Annual IT Solutions Management for Human Services (ISM) Conference, “Navigating the Course”, took place in beautiful San Diego, California. The conference is spearheaded by the American Public Human Services Association (APHSA) and serves as the nation’s premiere human services information technology conference. Every year, the conference brings together a nice blend of federal, state and local government officials, in addition to information technology (IT) professionals from the private sector, all immersed in health and human services-related development and implementation. Unfortunately, due to the government shutdown, the presence from federal officials was rather low. However, the conference did not disappoint and was full of valuable information for both private and public sector communities. Conference sessions were split among the following tracks: new service delivery models, health care reform, emerging technologies, best practices, and data analytics.
