The American Public Human Services Association’s 47th Annual IT Solutions Management for Human Services (ISM) Conference, themed “Service Integration on my Mind,” was held September 21-24 in Atlanta, Georgia. Each year, the conference unites a mix of government and information technology professionals in the health and social services fields. Attendees at this year’s event participated in sessions broken up into the following tracks: best practices; emerging technologies; health care reform; new service delivery; and data analytics. The insightful sessions were split between vendors and state and local government representatives – all eager to share experiences and best practices.
