A recap of procurement activity in the SLED General Government Services market in April 2020.

The month of April saw a decrease in the number of General Government Services solicitations over March, falling by about 13%. The majority of the solicitations issued had a primary requirement of Professional Services, at about 70%, with the remaining 30% having a primary requirement of Information Technology. The Public Finance vertical saw the most solicitations, followed by Economic Development/Regulation, Community Development, and Natural Resources/Environment. The three States with the most procurement activity in April were California, Texas, and Florida, while Delaware, North Dakota, and South Dakota had the least.

Notable Solicitation Releases

  • The City of Charlotte, North Carolina has issued a request for proposals (RFP) for Citywide Staff Augmentation and Recruiting Services.  The city is seeking vendors with the ability to provide Technology and Staff Augmentation needs when supplementation of full-time City staff is necessary. Proposals are due May 14, 2020.
  • The Texas Department of Information Resources (DIR) has released a Request for Offers (RFO) for the Information Technology Staff Augmentation Contract (ITSAC) Services project. DIR is looking for personnel services to support Customer information technology projects, acting by and through the Department of Information Resources (DIR). Offers are due May 28, 2020.
  • The City of Atlanta's Department of Procurement (DOP) on behalf of the Mayor's Office of Transparency issued a Request for Proposals (RFP) for the Citywide Public Records Management System Implementation project. This project is expected to enable the City of Atlanta to streamline the open records request process across departments and provide increased transparency. Proposals are due May 29, 2020.
