A recap of procurement activity in the SLED General Government Services market in November 2019.

The month of November saw a decrease in the number of General Government Services solicitations over October, falling by about 12%. The majority of the solicitations issued had a primary requirement of Professional Services, at about 70%, with the remaining 30% having a primary requirement of Information Technology. The Public Finance vertical saw the most solicitations, followed by Economic Development/Regulation, Community Development, and Natural Resources/Environment. The three States with the most procurement activity in November were California, Texas, and New York, while South Dakota, the District of Columbia, and Delaware had the least.

Notable Solicitation Releases

  • The New Jersey Department of the Treasury has posted a bid solicitation for Integrated Tax System (ITS). The state is looking to install a commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) system to replace outdated information technology tax systems and infrastructure. Proposals are due June 3, 2020.
  • The Office of the Illinois State Treasurer issued a request for proposals (RFP) to procure an Integrated Electronic Enterprise Treasury Management System (TMS). The Treasurer seeks a solution that provides real-time data analytics, forecasting and cash positioning with customizable dashboards per user and per function.  The deadline for proposals is March 13, 2020.
  • The Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (DCNR) has posted a request for proposals (RFP) for State Parks Reservation and Revenue Management System. The Department desires to have a modern, reliable, mobile enabled, web-based reservation and revenue solution and customer call center for selling individual items and permits, taking reservations and registrations, reporting facility attendance and usage, inventory control, and revenue tracking and reporting. Proposals are due December 31, 2019.
