This data set captures project spending that has been announced by the states and which will be funding by the American Rescue Plan (ARPA) Act. ARPA provided $195 billion to states (some of which must be transferred to localities and special districts) which must be obligated by the end of federal fiscal year (FFY) 2026.

This data set captures spending for those states that included project details in their most recent 2022 quarterly report to the U.S. Treasury.

Details for the October 10, 2022 version of this data set:

  • All 50 states have begun reporting project inventory.
  • Over 2,900 projects have been reported across all 50 states.
  • Updated expenditure categories utilized.
  • Not all spending is contractor addressable; however, this report includes over $54B in potentially contractor-addressable spending.

Deltek analysts will continually review state APRA websites along with future reports to the U.S. Treasury, and update project data accordingly. Each update posted here will include date fields that will allow users to parse out the newest information.

NOTE: You may bookmark this posting as new data sets will be attached here (replacing previous ones), not posted to new articles.
