Tina Barton
Research Analyst
Tina Barton is a Principal Research Analyst on Deltek's Federal Market Analysis (FMA) Team, providing comprehensive research and strategic analysis on federal government budgets, spending trends, and analysis of the federal IT market. Tina brings more than 25 years of experience working in the federal contracting arena. Her primary areas of focus are the Department of Energy, the National Aeronautics and Space Administration, and the Department of Commerce.
Before joining the FMA Team, Barton was a Research Analyst in Deltek's Federal Information Systems Team where she provided critical information including procurement trend analyses, opportunity assessment reports, specialized research products, and presentations. Barton became a part of the Deltek Team with the acquisition of Centurion Research Solutions. At Centurion, she served as a Senior Research Analyst and Federal Agency Analyst researching and analyzing federal contracting opportunities and co-developing agency profiles and departmental background reports. She spent more than a decade as part of the Arnold Engineering Development Center's Public Affairs Team at Arnold Air Force Base with works published in Global Security, Federation of American Scientists, Space Daily, AIAA Magazine, U.S. Air Force News, Air Force Leading Edge Magazine and Air Force and NASA websites.
Barton has a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing and numerous courses toward a graduate degree in Business Communications.
