Getting Started with GovWin Single Sign-On

GovWin SSO

You have the option of making your organization’s access to GovWin simpler and more secure, by configuring GovWin SSO. You and the other GovWin IQ users in your organization, all benefit. You authenticate against your corporate network, and may say goodbye to the regular GovWin login procedure and having to remember a separate GovWin password, which needs to be reset at regular intervals.

If your company uses one of these SAML 2.0 (Security Assertion Markup Language) supporting Identity Providers (IdPs), then you meet the pre-requisites to enable GovWin SSO, for all your users:

  • Azure
  • JumpCloud
  • Okta
  • OneLogin
  • Ping Identity

If your company's IdP is not on the list, then anyway, check with your GovWin CSM. This list will grow over time as we certify new SAML platforms.

GovWin SSO is intended to be self-configurable by you or one of your colleagues in your IT department:

  • First, contact your CSM and ask them to enable your GovWin IQ account (or whichever user(s) will be managing the SSO access) as 'SAML SSO Admin'.
  • Once enabled, return to this page, and the SSO configuration steps will display, available for you to start the configuration. Read the help guide that is available on that page, if the configuration steps outlined on the page, are not sufficient.
  • You have control over which users are enabled for GovWin SSO access, and which are not. So, if you wish, you are able to deploy this in a risk-free manner, testing out the capability for a few users first, and then expanding to the rest of your organization later.
  • If you encounter issues, then contact your CSM for assistance.

Please note: Enabling GovWin SSO will apply to all GovWin IQ users in your organization; not only you. You should only proceed with this request if you are authorized to do so on behalf of your company.
