The 2010 Health Information Technology National Conference, hosted by Governor Deval L. Patrick, was held in Boston, Massachusetts from April 29-30, 2010. The theme of the conference was: “Creating Jobs, Reducing Costs, and Improving Quality. An array of health officials and prominent health care leaders came together to address various concerns and challenges in the realm of health information technology (HIT). Major topics discussed throughout the conference included improving overall population health, increasing patient value and awareness of HIT, enhancing privacy and security, and incorporating public health into the HIT agenda. As a result, INPUT has provided the following notes as a recap of our participation in the event.”
