HOMELAND SECURITY INDUSTRY REPORT
Published: 01/04/2007
Description
Politics will be the catalyst. Both an administration that wants to leave a successful legacy of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and a new Democratic Congress that will seek to put its thumb-print on homeland security activities will combine as catalysts. Expect pronounced administration activity to aggressively move major homeland security programs forward. In part the White House will seek to demonstrate success in the evolution of national security, and in another part to stave off criticisms by the new Congressional majority that will come from intensive hearings and oversight.
