Deltek Pulse: General government services, November 2014
Published: December 02, 2014
November saw a flood of procurement activity, with nearly 300 more solicitations released than October. As predicted, this increase may be due to governments aiming to get projects rolling before offices close during the holidays. A majority of the solicitations released last month related to professional services, with the education vertical seeing a large increase in activity. Vendors should be prepared for a December lull as government offices slow down a bit before the New Year.
Notable November releases:
- Phoenix, Ariz., released an RFP for a records management system. Proposals are due by December 19.
- The state of Georgia released an RFP for managed network services. Proposals are due by December 16.
- The state of Tennessee released an RFP for talent acquisition and management services. Proposals are due by December 17.
