The start of the third quarter brought slightly less activity than previous months. With the start of a new fiscal year, many entities are still prioritizing funding for upcoming projects, and this caused a 4 percent decrease in solicitations released nationwide. Vendors can expect more solicitations to be released in the coming months and should prep for increased procurement activity.

Notable projects:
- Hawaii released the much-anticipated student information system RFP. Proposals are due August 29.
- Louisiana released an RFP for support and enhancement of the LAGov enterprise resources planning solution. Proposals are due August 13.
- The District of Columbia released an implementation of a data management solution RFP. Proposals are due August 29.
