The newly-rebranded Medicaid Enterprise Systems Conference (MESC), formerly the Medicaid Management Information System Conference, was held in Boston, Mass., from August 19-23. The MESC’s theme was appropriately-named “Healthcare History in the Making,” which was echoed by many of the presenters throughout the week. The annual conference, held by the New England States Consortium Systems Organization (NESCSO), brings together thought leaders from the public and private sectors to share ideas and information related to Medicaid systems and initiatives.
