SLED Use of GSA Schedule 70 up 4.0% in FFY 2015

Schedule 70 will enjoy a 4.2% compound annual growth rate (CAGR) during the period and will be the vehicle of choice for approximately 1.3% of total state and local IT spending throughout.

• Orders by SLED buyers in federal FY (FFY) 2015 (10/1/14 – 09/30/15) were $772 million – up 4% percent from $743 million in FFY 2014.
• 514 suppliers sold to state, local or education buyers with their Schedule 70 contracts in FFY 2015 – steady with 515 in FFY 2014.
• Local governments and K-12 education organizations are historically more receptive to GSA Schedule 70 for the administrative and time savings, and leveraged pricing.*
• 34 states (including their localities and public school districts) and the District of Columbia enjoy some eligibility to utilize the schedule.
• Thirteen Special Item Numbers (SINs) comprise the majority of schedule purchases.
