Meet Size Standards
Be considered a small business according to the size standard for any NAICS code listed in your SAM profile.


Meet Ownership Standards
Have at least 51% of the business owned and controlled by one or more veterans rated as service-disabled by the VA.


Apply for Certification
Create an account and apply for SDVOSB certification through the SBA's Veteran Small Business Certification (VetCert) portal.

5% The SDVOSB contracting goal is to award a minimum of 5% of federal contract dollars to Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSBs) each year, as established by the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA).
