Nicholas Fisher
Principal Research Analyst
Nicholas Fisher, Principal Analyst, Federal Information Services, is the content lead for Federal Task Orders, Federal Technology Install Base, and Federal Spending Analytics. Fisher co-developed and maintains GovWin's proprietary government entity mapping system, which is used to pinpoint sources of federal spending in multiple GovWin IQ solutions including Task Orders and Federal Spending Analytics. Fisher also co-developed the system used to derive Budget Sources from FPDS spending. Additionally, Fisher provides custom research support for GovWin clients by compiling and analyzing significant volumes of data.
In previous positions at Deltek, Fisher assisted in the development of the vendor program managers product, was content team lead tasked with adding A/E/C to Deltek's Federal Opportunities database, and was an analyst for State and Local Profiles.
Fisher first joined Deltek as an Air Force research associate, where he utilized public information databases and conducted Web research and phone interviews in support of existing Federal Opportunities in addition to forecasting the future needs of the Air Force. As a result of his varied positions addressing the needs of government contractors, Mr. Fisher is well positioned to provide a unique perspective on the market.
Prior to his employment at Deltek, Fisher worked as an intern at an international development firm, where he installed and configured various technology as well as prepared research and cost-benefit analysis for executive presentations.
Fisher holds a bachelor's degree in economics from Simon Fraser University and is a Microsoft Certified Professional.
