Steve Mihalisko is a Senior Principal Research Analyst on the Federal Opportunities team. His subject-area expertise includes the Defense Tech market, the Air Force and Space Force, the IT market, as well as how the US government acquires new capabilities and technologies. This includes the SBIR / STTR program, Other Transactions Authority (OTA), Commercial Solutions Openings (CSOs), BAAs, and other acquisition methodologies.
He conducts in-depth market research on various federal markets, provides business development support, and helps clients find and maintain their opportunity pipeline. He has been at Deltek supporting the government contracting community for over 15 years.
Prior to joining Deltek, he spent several years in the financial sector as a portfolio and investment manager.
Mihalisko holds an MA in International Commerce and Policy from the School of Public Policy at George Mason University, and a BA in Foreign Affairs from the University of Virginia.
