A monthly recap of the SLED Education solicitation releases.
The month of April had a 10% decrease in the number solicitations compared to March, however it is the second highest month of solicitation releases in 2017. The Primary/Secondary Education vertical is producing 55% of the bids released, while Higher Education is producing 45%. Professional Services was a primary requirement associated with 63% of the solicitations released in April, while Information Technology was a primary requirement associated with 37%. In April, Texas took the lead again as they have every month in 2017, releasing the most solicitations, with New Jersey and Virginia coming in after Texas for most number of solicitations released. Idaho and South Dakota tied for releasing the fewest solicitations this month.
Notable Solicitation Releases
- The state of Kansas has a requirement for a Data Collection and Analysis Application. Proposals are due on May 8, 2017.
- The state of Mississippi has a requirement for a Comprehensive Early Learning Assessment Screener (CELA). Proposals are due on May 31, 2017.
- The University of California has a requirement for an English Language Proficiency Assessment for the 21st Century Test Development and Delivery Vendor (ELPA21). Proposals are due on May 12, 2017.
