A monthly recap of the SLED Education solicitation releases.
The month of June had a 22% decrease in the number solicitations released compared to May. The Primary/Secondary Education vertical and the Higher Education vertical are evenly producing 50% of the bids this month. Professional Services was a primary requirement associated with 67% of the solicitations released in June, while Information Technology was a primary requirement associated with 33%. In June, Texas released the most solicitations, with New York right behind. Idaho, North Dakota and Vermont released the fewest solicitations this month.
Notable Solicitation Releases
- The Delaware Department of Education issued a solicitation for a Next Generation Science Assessment System for Delaware Learners Phase II: Development and Implementation. The Department is seeking to develop and implement an innovative science assessment system to measure student learning of the Next Generation Science Standards statewide. Proposals are due on July 20, 2017.
- The Iowa Department of Administrative Services, on behalf of the Iowa Department of Education, has a requirement for Iowa Statewide Assessment of Student Progress to be administered annually in the last quarter of each school year. Proposals are due on August 4, 2017.
