Deltek Pulse: General government services month in review, July 2017
The month of July saw a decrease in the number of General Government solicitations from the previous month, dropping by about 12% from June. The majority of the solicitations had a primary requirement of Professional Services, at about 70%, with the remaining 30% having a primary requirement of Information Technology. The Natural Resources vertical saw the most solicitations, followed by Economic Development, Public Finance, and Community Development. The three states with the most procurement activity in the month of July were Texas, California, and New York, while Delaware, South Dakota, and Indiana had the least.
Notable Solicitation Releases
- The New Mexico Department of Homeland Security and Emergency Management (NM DHSEM) issued a request for proposals (RFP) for an Emergency Grant Management Program to replace the manual process. The deadline to submit proposals is August 17, 2017.
- The Oklahoma Office of Management and Enterprise Services released an RFP for a Third Party Administrator of Complete Administrative and Claims Services. Proposals are due on August 10, 2017.
- The Oregon Department of Administrative Services released an RFP for Broadband Services. Proposals are due on September 8, 2017.
