A monthly recap of the SLED Education solicitation releases.
The month of July saw the lowest number of solicitations released this calendar year. There was an 18% decrease in the number solicitations released compared to June. The Higher Education vertical is producing 52% of bids, while the Primary/Secondary Education vertical is producing 48% of the bids this month. Professional Services was a primary requirement associated with 71% of the solicitations released in July, while Information Technology was a primary requirement associated with 29%. New York and Texas were the states to release the most solicitations in July. Alaska, South Dakota and Indiana released the fewest number of solicitations this month.
Notable Solicitation Releases
- The Iowa Department of Administrative Services, on behalf of the Iowa Department of Education, released a solicitation for a Registration and Enrollment Software and Student Information Management System for Online Program. Proposals are due on August 11, 2017.
- Texas Region 8 Education Services Center, as the lead agency for The Interlocal Purchasing System (TIPS), issued a request for proposals for Online Student Registration and Enrollment Systems. Proposals are due on August 18, 2017.
