A monthly recap of the SLED Education solicitation releases.
The month of August had an 8% increase in the number of solicitations released compared to July. The Higher Education vertical is producing 51% of bids, while the Primary/Secondary Education vertical is producing 49% of the bids this month. Professional Services was a primary requirement associated with 67% of the solicitations released in August, while Information Technology was a primary requirement associated with 33%. Texas, New York, North Carolina, California and Virginia were the states to release the most solicitations in August. Indiana, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota and Wyoming released the fewest number of solicitations this month.
Notable Solicitation Releases
- Educational & Institutional Cooperative Services, Inc. (E&I) has a requirement for learning management software (LMS). Proposals are due on September 21, 2017.
- The North Carolina State Education Assistance Authority (NCSEAA) has a requirement for a software system for K-12 voucher programs, state funded higher education grants, scholarships and loans; and loan servicing. Proposals are due on September 15, 2017.
- The Washington Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI) has a requirement for an education grants management system (EGMS). Proposals are due on November 2, 2017.
