A monthly recap of the SLED Education solicitation releases.
The month of September had a 7% decrease in the number of solicitations released compared to August. The Higher Education vertical is producing 54% of bids, while the Primary/Secondary Education vertical is producing 46% of the bids this month. Professional Services was a primary requirement associated with 64% of the solicitations released in September, while Information Technology was a primary requirement associated with 36%. Texas and New York remain the states that released the most solicitations, consistent with August. Indiana and Nebraska released the fewest number of solicitations this month.
Notable Solicitation Releases
- Austin Community College District, Texas has a requirement for an Enterprise Content Management System. Proposals are due on October 19, 2017.
- The Washington State Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI), on behalf of The Professional Educator Standards Board (PESB), has a requirement for a Grow Your Own (GYO) Tracking, Evaluation, and Data System. Proposals were due on September 20, 2017 and an award is expected later in October.
