A monthly recap of the SLED Education solicitation releases.
The month of October had a 15% increase in the number of solicitations released compared to September. The Higher Education vertical is producing 51% of bids, while the Primary/Secondary Education vertical is producing 49% of the bids this month. Professional Services was a primary requirement associated with 63% of the solicitations released in October, while Information Technology was a primary requirement associated with 37%. Texas, New York, California, North Carolina and Virginia released the top number of solicitations in October. The fewest amount of solicitations were released by Indiana, Maine, Minnesota, Nebraska, South Dakota and Vermont.
Notable Solicitation Releases
- The Hawaii Virtual Learning Network (HVLN) has a requirement for a Learning Management System for the Hawaii Department of Education's Hawaii Virtual Learning Network Online and Blended Learning Programs. Proposals are due on November 16, 2017.
- The Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education released a solicitation for a Standards Navigation and Support Platform. Proposals are due on November 17, 2017.
