A recap of procurement activity in the SLED General Government Services market in January 2018.

The month of January saw an increase in the number of General Government solicitations from the previous month, growing by about 204% from December. This growth is largely due to the combination of Deltek and Onvia resources and will likely even out over the next few months. The majority of the solicitations issued had a primary requirement of Professional Services, at about 71%, with the remaining 29% having a primary requirement of Information Technology. The Natural Resources vertical saw the most solicitations, followed by Economic Development/Regulation, Public Finance, and Community Development. The three states with the most procurement activity in the month of December were California, Texas, and New York, while Delaware, North Dakota, and South Dakota had the least.

Notable Solicitation Releases

DAS PS intends to establish one or more consultant Master Service Agreements for use by authorized purchasers. The deadline to submit a proposal is February 27, 2018.
  • The New Jersey Department of the Treasury, on behalf of the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP), Division of Fish and Wildlife (DFW), released a solicitation for an Integrated Electronic Licensing System (IELS). This project will establish a flexible system to issue hunting, fishing, and trapping licenses and permits. Proposals are due by March 20, 2018.
  • The Texas Department of Information Resources (DIR) issued a request for offers (RFO) for Hewlett Packard Manufacturer Branded Hardware, Software, Cloud and Related Products and Services.
