A recap of procurement activity in the SLED General Government Services market in June 2018.

The month of June saw an increase in the number of General Government Services solicitations over May, increasing by about 15%. The majority of the solicitations issued had a primary requirement of Professional Services, at about 69%, with the remaining 31% having a primary requirement of Information Technology. The Public Finance vertical saw the most solicitations, followed by Economic Development/Regulation, Community Development, and Natural Resources/Environment. The three States with the most procurement activity in June were California, Texas, and Florida, while Delaware, South Dakota, and Montana had the least.

Notable Solicitation Releases

  • The Kentucky Finance and Administration Cabinet has issued a request for proposals (RFP) for an Integrated Tax System. The current systems are considered to not be sufficiently flexible and scalable to meet agency needs. Proposals are due August 7, 2018.
  • The South Carolina Information Technology Management Office has posted an invitation for bids (IFB) for Oracle Software. The state intends to establish a statewide term contract with a reseller to facilitate the acquisition of specific Oracle software products. The deadline for bids is July 12, 2018.
  • The Pennsylvania Office of the Attorney General has released an RFP for a Case Management Platform.  The desired solution would handle core case management, document and file management, collaboration and correspondence, as well as financial tracking and accountability. The deadline for proposals is August 23, 2018.
