A recap of procurement activity in the SLED General Government Services market in July 2018.
The month of July saw a decrease in the number of General Government Services solicitations over June, decreasing by about 5%. The majority of the solicitations issued had a primary requirement of Professional Services, at about 67%, with the remaining 33% having a primary requirement of Information Technology. The Public Finance vertical saw the most solicitations, followed by Economic Development/Regulation, Community Development, and Natural Resources/Environment. The three States with the most procurement activity in June were California, Texas, and Florida, while South Dakota, North Dakota, and Idaho had the least.
Notable Solicitation Releases
- The Missouri Office of Administration has issued a request for proposals (RFP) for Telephony Equipment Maintenance Repair and Support. This solicitation will support the Department of Corrections, Department of Social Services, and the Department of Mental Health. Proposals are due August 22, 2018.
- The Nebraska Department of Administrative Services (DAS) released an RFP for Hosted Voice Over Internet Protocol Telephony Service (VOIP). This solution will replace the State’s Centrex service in select locations throughout the state. The deadline for proposals is August 20, 2018.
- The Massachusetts Executive Office for Administration and Finance has posted a request for response (RFR) for Data Cable Products and Services. The resulting contract will replace the existing contract as the primary statewide contract used by Executive Agencies of the state for this requirement. The deadline for responses is August 14, 2018.
