A recap of procurement activity in the SLED General Government Services market in August 2018.

The month of August saw a decrease in the number of General Government Services solicitations over July, decreasing by about 4%. The majority of the solicitations issued had a primary requirement of Professional Services, at about 71%, with the remaining 29% having a primary requirement of Information Technology. The Public Finance vertical saw the most solicitations, followed by Economic Development/Regulation, Community Development, and Natural Resources/Environment. The three States with the most procurement activity in June were California, Texas, and Florida, while South Dakota, Washington, D.C., and Delaware had the least.

Notable Solicitation Releases

  • The Nevada Department of Administration has issued a request for proposals (RFP) for an Enterprise Resource Planning Smart 21 Project (ERP). Nevada seeks to replace its 18-year old financial and human resources system with a comprehensive ERP solution to increase statewide productivity and enhance decision making for resource allocation. Proposals are due December 3, 2018.
  • The Illinois Office of the Comptroller (IOC) released an RFP for a State of Illinois Payroll System. The state seeks a solution to replace the two existing IOC payroll systems, both of which were developed internally over 30 years ago. The deadline for proposals is October 10, 2018.
  • The Delaware Division of Revenue (DOR) has posted a request for proposals (RFP) for an Integrated Revenue Administration System (IRAS). The state is seeking a single solution which provides centralized revenue management, processes, and a robust web interface for its taxpayers, stakeholders, and DOR staff.. The deadline for proposals is October 2, 2018.
