NASCIO Releases Strategic Plan for 2018-2020

NASCIO's strategic plan for 2018-2020 has been released and outlines the Organization's principles and objectives.

The National Association of State Procurement Officers (NASCIO) has released its strategic plan for 2018-2020 outlining the organization’s vision for the coming years. Current NASCIO President and Chief Information Officer of Oklahoma, Bo Reese, noted that the strategic vision laid out here will allow NASCIO and its members to thrive in the continually changing IT environment. The document includes guiding principles the organization will follow, such as maintaining nonpartisanship, ethical behavior, fostering public trust, and promoting open standards and best practices. Organizational goals and objectives through the coming years include acting as a resource for state CIOs and advocating for information technology policy at all levels of government.
