A recap of procurement activity in the SLED General Government Services market in October 2018.

The month of October saw an increase in the number of General Government Services solicitations over September, increasing by about 22%. The majority of the solicitations issued had a primary requirement of Professional Services, at about 68%, with the remaining 32% having a primary requirement of Information Technology. The Public Finance vertical saw the most solicitations, followed by Economic Development/Regulation, Community Development, and Natural Resources/Environment. The three States with the most procurement activity in October were California, Texas, and Florida, while Delaware, North Dakota, and Washington, D.C. had the least.

Notable Solicitation Releases

  • The Florida Department of Management Services (DMS) has issued a request for proposals (RFP) for an Information Technology Staff Augmentation Services Rebid. DMS is looking to replace the current State Term Contract for comprehensive staff augmentation and management. Proposals are due November 13, 2018.
  • The Louisiana Office of the Attorney General released an RFP for a Case and Matter Management System. The state is seeking a vendor capable of providing internal case management, document management, and timekeeping and statistic reporting. The deadline for proposals is December 11, 2018.
  • The County of Baltimore has posted a request for proposals (RFP) for a Real and Personal Property Tax Software System. The county is looking for a system which can manage the over 300,000 real property and approximately 20,000 Personal Property tax bills annually. The deadline for proposals is November 13, 2018.
