A recap of procurement activity in the SLED General Government Services market in October 2019.

The month of October saw an increase in the number of General Government Services solicitations over September, rising by about 17%. The majority of the solicitations issued had a primary requirement of Professional Services, at about 70%, with the remaining 30% having a primary requirement of Information Technology. The Public Finance vertical saw the most solicitations, followed by Economic Development/Regulation, Community Development, and Natural Resources/Environment. The three States with the most procurement activity in October were California, New Jersey, and Texas, while the District of Columbia, North Dakota, and Delaware had the least.

Notable Solicitation Releases

  • The Pennsylvania Department of State (DOS) has posted a request for proposals (RFP) for a Statewide Uniform Registry of Electors (SURE) System. DOS seeks to replace the current Voter Registration System as well as the current DOS Campaign Finance and Lobbying Disclosure and Registration and Reporting systems used by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, through the Pennsylvania Secretary of State’s Office, and all 67 counties in Pennsylvania. Proposals are due November 19, 2019.
  • The Arizona Department of Administration (ADOA) issued a request for proposals (RFP) to procure Voice, Network and Call Center Communication Services (AZNETIII). In anticipation of continuation of the AZNet program, the State has determined that the subsequent AZNet III contract will be split into Voice and Unified Communications Services, Network, Security and WIFI Services, and Contact Center Services.  The deadline for proposals is January 31, 2020.
  • The Indiana Department of Administration (IDOA) has released a request for proposals (RFP) for IT Hardware - Desktops, Laptops, Tablets, Monitors, Printers, Peripherals and Related Services. It is the intent of IDOA and IOT to contract with one vendor that provides quality IT Hardware for the State of Indiana, on behalf of All State Agencies and Other Governmental Bodies. Proposals are due January 9, 2020.
