A recap of procurement activity in the SLED General Government Services market in March 2020.

The month of March saw a decrease in the number of General Government Services solicitations over February, falling by about 8%. The majority of the solicitations issued had a primary requirement of Professional Services, at about 70%, with the remaining 30% having a primary requirement of Information Technology. The Public Finance vertical saw the most solicitations, followed by Economic Development/Regulation, Community Development, and Natural Resources/Environment. The three States with the most procurement activity in March were California, Texas, and Florida, while Delaware, Nevada, and Vermont had the least.

Notable Solicitation Releases

  • The New York State Office of General Services (OGS) issued a request for proposals (RFP) for Media Asset Management System (MAM). OGS is seeking a hardware, software, cloud and/or hybrid solution for storing, managing, and using the state's video, photo, and graphic assets. Proposals are due May 21, 2020.
  • The Revenue Authority of Prince George's County (RAPGC), Maryland issued a solicitation for Auditing Services. The RAPGC is seeking a contractor to perform an audit of the basic Annual Financial Statements of the RAPGC. Responses are due April 24, 2020.
  • The Florida Department of Management Services (DMS) released a Request for Proposals (RFP) for the Management Consulting Services and Financial and Performance Audits project. DMS is seeking expert advice, assistance, guidance, or counseling in support of customer’s mission-oriented business functions, and may also include studies, analyses, and reports supporting any proposed developmental, consultative, or implementation efforts. Proposals are due April 28, 2020.
