A recap of procurement activity in the SLED General Government Services market in September 2021.

The month of September saw an increase in the number of General Government Services solicitations over August, rising by about 6%. The majority of the solicitations issued had a primary requirement of Professional Services, at about 72%, with the remaining 28% having a primary requirement of Information Technology. The Public Finance vertical saw the most solicitations, followed by Economic Development/Regulation, Community Development, and Natural Resources/Environment. The three States with the most procurement activity in September were California, Texas, and Florida, while Delaware, South Dakota, and North Dakota had the least.

Notable Solicitation Releases

  • The Louisiana Division of Administration (DOA) released an Invitation to Bid (ITB) for Polycom Brand Name Networking Products. DOA is seeking hardware and software utilized in the transport, provisioning, delivery, management and/or security of voice, data and/or video applications over separate or converged networks. Bids are due by October 13, 2021.
  • The New York State Governor's Office of Employee Relations (GOER) released a new Request for Proposal (RFP) for the Job Skills Program Delivery and Curriculum Development. The services sought will support the Partnership in providing education, training, and related services to New York State (NYS) agencies and employees who are represented by the Civil Service Employees Association, Inc.  Proposals are due November 4, 2021.
  • The Colorado Department of Personnel and Administration, State Purchasing and Contracts Office has released a request for proposals (RFP) for Temporary Personnel Services. The state is looking to establish a new State Price Agreement for temporary hourly leased workers needed to supplement existing state staff. Proposals are due October 28, 2021.
